2015 GLCA Annual Meeting
Our Annual General Meeting which will take place on May 16, 2015 at 1:00 at the St-Jules' cottage, (Lot 14) on the South Road of Lac Gordon. Also enclosed is a proxy form in the event that you cannot attend the meeting, and a copy of our 2014/15 Business Plan.
We are asking you to come out to express your views on the administration of the Association and to generally show support for the Association working on your behalf. We encourage any member in good standing that is interested in serving on the Board of Directors to stand for election. Fresh point of views can only enhance the administration of the Association.
If you are unable to attend as will be the case for some of you, we would ask you to complete the Proxy form, naming a fellow cottager to speak and vote on your behalf on the Business Plan and other issues to be addressed. If for some reason you cannot have the form completed, you could email your intention to Marcel St-Jules (mestju@bell.net) or any other Director who will deposit your intention at the meeting on your behalf. Given that we must function on a quorum basis, your Proxy vote is extremely important.
To ease the work of your Committee if you cannot attend the meeting, we would appreciate if your could please mail your total membership and road maintenance fee of $100 as approved at the Annual General Meeting last year, to Marcel St-Jules, Treasurer, Gordon Lake Cottage Association, 53 Malcolm Circle, Dollard Des Ormeaux, Quebec, H9B 1K9. Your cheque should be made out to ``Association des Chalets du Lac Gordon`` or to ``Gordon Lake Cottage Association``.
We look forward to seeing many of you on May 16. Any non members who wish to familiarize themselves with the Association and who may be interested in joining are most welcome to attend the meeting.
We take this opportunity to welcome Ron & Paula Benoit who joined our community last fall, having purchased the Lepine cottage. Bienvenue à la famille.
