Membership Rates for ACLG (due 2014)

 

The membership dues will remain at 100$ for 2014, that is $90 for road maintenance and $10 for administration

 

Election of Directors

 

We are pleased to confirm that Stephane Liard has agreed to serve as Director at Large, joining Stephane Pressault, Mike Lafrance, Johanne Bolduc Larry Johnson, Ralph McCauley, Janet Filipchuk, Brenda Lagace, and Marcel St-Jules on the Board of Directors.  We are also please that while no member came forward at the meeting to act as Secretary, Angele St-Jules agreed subsequent to the meeting to take on this responsibility. 

 

Road Maintenance Report

 

As you will note on the attached report, there are still a few members who have yet to submit their dues.  We would appreciate it if you would send your $100 cheque to Marcel St-Jules, Treasurer GLCA, 53 Malcolm Circle, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, H9B 1K9 Dues can also be given to any of our Directors. Please note that any cottagers who wishes to become a member in 2014 are not obliged to make any reactive payments. We urge all non-members to seriously consider joining our Association in that they are enjoying the full benefits of the work done by the Association in the areas of road maintenance, monitoring of our lake water, security measures, and social activities.

 

Testing of Lake Water

 

Given the very positive results of the water tests taken for E. coli, phosphorus, and water clarity the last number of years, the membership decided to not to do any testing this year and to resume testing in 2015.
